The Coking Industry Association of Shandong Province recently disclosed that in accordance with the goal of eliminating 2.27 million tons of backward production capacity in the coke industry in Shandong Province in 2010, related companies in the Shandong coking industry actively took the initiative to eliminate backward production lines. Up to now, the coking industry in the province has completed 93.4% of the tasks of eliminating backward production capacity in 2010. At the same time, some coking enterprises have also combined technology upgrades, adjusted product mix, and actively eliminated backward production capacity in advance, shutting down the production line that was included in the next year's elimination plan.
