Rico India's revenue will increase sharply in the next two years

Rico's revenue in India will increase sharply in the next two years. Rico Motors recently stated that due to the increase in orders in the domestic market and the possible increase in exports in the fiscal year 2005-2006, the company expects revenues for the current fiscal year and the next fiscal year to come from Steady growth. Rajiv Bajaj, the company’s vice president of global strategy, told the media that as large automakers around the world, mainly Ford’s orders, exports in the 2005-2006 fiscal year will soar. The Indian auto parts company has already won many Ford orders for iron and aluminum castings, and with the increase in Ford's production, their supply in the fiscal year 2005-2006 will increase. Under the contract, Rico will supply new parts for Ford, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Land Rover, Volvo, Mercury, Lincoln and Mazda, which will soon be supplied under eight brands. Bajaj said that the largest orders come from vehicles under the Ford brand, but the most profitable orders come from the Jaguar brand because the products it produces are more complex. In the financial year that ended in March, Rico’s annual export income of Rs. 4.5 billion was only 5%. The company hopes that with these orders, the above figures can be increased by 50% within three years. Bajaj hopes Rico’s orders can grow at a rate of 10%-20% over the next few years. Orders won by companies such as Daimler, Germany and Chrysler, USA can also increase the company's exports. Rico has won orders for Rs 5.2 crore for the 2004-2005 fiscal year and 6.5 billion rupees for the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
