Lubrizol Lubricating Oil Additives Project Settled in Zhuhai

On July 18, the Lubrizol Corporation of the United States and the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government signed an investment agreement for a lubricant additive project, signifying that the Lubrizol lubricant additive project was officially settled in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone in Zhuhai.

According to the agreement, Lubrizol will invest in the construction of a large lubricant additive production base in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone in Zhuhai. The first phase of the project investment is about 200 million U.S. dollars, and it is expected to start construction in the second half of 2010. The project will be completed and put into operation in 2013. After full production, it is expected that the annual output value will exceed 4 billion yuan. The project signed a letter of intent in January 2010, and registered and established an independent legal entity company Lubrizol Additives (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone. Currently, the preparatory work of the project is progressing smoothly.

The Lubrizol Corporation stated that it is optimistic about Zhuhai's convenient shipping and other transportation and logistics conditions as well as the convenience of its products radiating throughout the Asia Pacific region. It is reported that the Lubrizol Lubricant Additives Project of Zhuhai mainly involves automotive lubricant additives, industrial oil additives, and fuel additives. After the project is put into production, it will form a supporting industry supporting closely with the existing Shell Lubricant projects, which will enable the Gaolan Port Economic Zone to form a complete oil industry chain, thereby enhancing Zhuhai's industrial competitiveness.

Micro Red Dot Sights

Micro Red Dot Sights (MRDS) are compact, lightweight optical devices designed to assist shooters in aiming their firearms more accurately and quickly. These sights are a type of reflex sight, which means they utilize a red dot or similar reticle to provide an aiming point for the user. The red dot is typically projected onto a lens, creating a heads-up display that allows the shooter to focus on both the target and the reticle simultaneously.

Micro Red Dot Sights are popular because they offer several advantages over traditional iron sights:

  1. Faster target acquisition: The red dot can be more easily seen and aligned with the target, allowing for quicker target acquisition compared to lining up iron sights.

  2. Improved accuracy: The red dot is designed to be parallax-free, which means that it remains on target regardless of the shooter's eye position. This can lead to improved accuracy, especially for those with less experience using iron sights.

  3. Better low-light performance: Red dot sights are often illuminated, making them easier to use in low-light situations compared to non-illuminated iron sights.

  4. Versatility: Micro Red Dot Sights can be mounted on various firearms, such as rifles, shotguns, and handguns, making them a versatile aiming solution.

  5. Compact and lightweight: As the name suggests, these sights are smaller and lighter than traditional red dot sights, making them more suitable for compact firearms or for users who prefer a minimalistic setup.

Despite their advantages, Micro Red Dot Sights are not without drawbacks. They typically have a shorter battery life than larger red dot sights and may not be as rugged or durable as some other types of sights. Additionally, they may not offer the same level of magnification as other optic types, making them less suitable for long-range shooting.
