China Securities Journal reporter learned from relevant sources of the National Energy Administration that the National Energy Administration has officially issued a total of 16.76 million kilowatts of wind power planning projects in 2012, and the new project will focus on areas beyond the “Three North” (Northeast, North China, and Northwest China). tilt. This means that the focus of future development of the wind power industry will gradually move out of the traditional large-scale wind power bases. The Chinese government has braked on the blind expansion of the wind power industry. "Shanghai Securities News" quoted the National Energy Administration's urgent documents on Thursday, saying that all provinces (regions and cities) Development and Reform Commission shall strictly implement the wind power project approval plan, and in principle, wind power should not be arranged for new wind power projects in areas where the wind is more than 20%.

According to the document, all localities must carry out project approval work in strict accordance with the approval plan issued by the National Energy Administration, and must not approve unscheduled wind power projects without authorization. For projects that have not been listed in the wind power project approval plan, the grid companies will not accept the grid-connected operation, and they will not be able to enjoy the tariff subsidies for the National Renewable Energy Development Fund.

The document also requires that all localities should expedite the clearance of wind power project approvals. For the unscheduled wind power projects approved after September 1, 2011, the project approval documents will be suspended. If it is true that it has the construction conditions, it shall apply again to the National Energy Administration for inclusion in the approved plan and re-approve the project approval procedures after being approved for inclusion in the plan. All localities need to take effective measures to promote the absorption of wind power and solve the problem of wind power running restrictions.
