For the first time, Foton Motor’s leaders disclosed to the media that the environmental assessment of Foton’s homemade gasoline engine plant has been launched and will provide supporting services for the passenger vehicle strategy. It is understood that Foton has already formed a Euro 3 to Euro 6 power system that meets the emission requirements of the global target countries. The Foton gasoline engine includes 2.0 TGDI, 1.5 TGDI, and 2.5 TGDI, a total of three displacements.

In the 2020 strategy released by Foton, there is a set of figures. By 2020, the sales volume of Foton Motor will reach 4.4 million, of which the sales target for passenger cars will be 1.2 million. However, Foton did not disclose the development plan for passenger cars this year.
