How to cool the heat transfer oil pump

The heat-conducting oil pump is a pump for transporting higher-temperature oil, and generally does not use a centrifugal type, so that the hot oil vaporizes easily and the angry room is produced, so that the impeller of the pump is generally damaged by a screw type or a gear type.

Hot oil pump is an ideal hot oil circulation pump or heat transfer pump, and it is an ideal supporting pump for heat exchange equipment. There are many ways to reduce the temperature of a hot oil pump. The first thing to do is to analyze what the seal structure of the hot oil pump is, and use different cooling methods depending on the sealing structure. Hot oil pump seal structure mainly has the following four structures:

(1)Single-face sealing: The flushing liquid is 100°C minus second-line wax oil, and the pressure is 0.05~0.15Mpa higher than the sealing cavity. The outside of the gland is quenched with hot water (soft water). It is generally possible to use one cycle (ten months).

(2) Metal bellows machine seal: The structure is compact and easy to install. In the case of the same auxiliary system, the service life is 2 to 3 times that of ordinary seals.

(3) Double-end machine seal: The use of cycle flushing, plus external cooling, life is 1.5 to 2 times the single-end surface.

(4) The friction pair is made of hard-to-hard (YG6/YG8, SiC/SiC, etc.). It has high viscosity, medium with a small amount of solid particles, or a medium produced by crystallization. It has a very good effect. Let us come based on the above sealing structure. Analyze the cooling of the following hot oil pumps. (1) The hot oil pump is equipped with a cooling water jacket around the sealed chamber. By cooling with cold water, the temperature of the sealed chamber can be reduced to 200-250°C.

(2) For single-side seals, use injection flushing to clean the wax oil at a temperature of about 100°C from the outside (usually no diesel, because diesel is a finished product), which reduces the temperature and improves the working environment. Effective way.

(3) Quench water is used on the outside of the gland; in addition to lowering the temperature, plugging of the drain line can be prevented.

This is the main cooling method of the hot oil pump. Of course, there are many other methods besides these. This requires us to pay attention to different cooling methods that may achieve different results when used in peacetime. We can pay attention to this when we use it.
