The existing unattended manual valve room of the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline was not equipped with electrical, automatic control, and communication equipment, and its equipment operation status could not be monitored in real time. If such a valve chamber leaks out of natural gas and is not detected in time, it is easy to miss the best emergency response time. The accumulation of leaked natural gas under certain conditions may cause safety accidents such as burning and explosion.
In response, the company developed this combustible gas remote monitoring and alarm system to achieve real-time monitoring of the combustible gas concentration in the manual valve chamber of the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline. The alarm system mainly includes explosion-proof flammable gas probes, wireless transmission modules, alarm hosts, and terminals. When the probe detects that the concentration of combustible gas is greater than a predetermined threshold concentration, the wireless transmitter module is triggered to send a signal, and the alarm host sends an alarm to the terminal after receiving the signal to remind the personnel to take corresponding measures.
The development of this device further improves the controllability of the manual valve chamber of the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline, and is of great significance in ensuring the safe operation of the pipeline.
